Update Xperia Play to android 2.3.4

Kemaren ane baru aja beres update Xperia Play ane ke versi 2.3.4, dan ane seneng banget gan. Kenapa? Karena proses updatenya disertai beberapa insiden. Diawali ketika Minggu pagi tiba2 hp ane itu ga bisa konek ke internet. Ah, mungkin ini saatnya ane update, karena ane uda dapet notifikasi sejak sekitar seminggu yang lalu. Akhirnya ane nyoba update dengan koneksi internet yang seadanya, dan gagal T_T. Ane coba beberapa kali lagi, masih gagal juga. Ya daripada repot, mending ane ke Service Center resmi aja deh, jadilah ane pergi ke Sony Ericsson Shop di Botani Square, dan betapa kecewanya ane waktu dengen jawaban dari staf nya.

Masa mereka bilang klo mereka ga bisa update karena mereka ga punya softwarenya, mereka kan Service Center resmi? Harusnya mereka punya dan bisa lakukan itu karena dari Sony Ericsson sendiri sudah release. Gimana klo ada orang lain yang pengen update tapi ga punya koneksi internet yang bagus kaya ane?

Daripada capek debat yang uda pasti mereka juga ga bakal melakukan apa2, ane akhirnya pulang lagi dan mencoba update lagi aja sendiri. Dan akhirnya setelah beberapa kali mencoba lagi, berhasil gan ^_^. Ane suka dengan fitur2 baru dan juga tampilan barunya, walaupun untuk setting wallpaper ane lebih seneng dengan setting yang lama.

Just finished update my Sony Ericsson Xperia Play to andriod 2.3.4 yesterday, and i felt really relieved. Why? Because there are some incident behind that update. It began when on Sunday morning I found out that my Xperia Play cannot connect to the internet. When that happens, i think that maybe its time for me to update my Xperia Play since i get the update notification since last week or so. So i try to do that, but during the update, a message error is displayed saying that the update is failed due to my internet connection (for those who are wandering why, this is a hint, there is no one single internet provider in Indonesia that can provide fast & reliable internet with acceptable price). After several times trying, and failed also. I decided to go to Sony Ericsson Service Center instead, but when I got there and heard what the staff says, I'm very shocked.

Can you imagine, certified Service Center cannot update my Xperia Play because they don't have the software? I think they should have. What if anybody else wants to update and don't have good internet connection?

Anyway, after that i went home and try to update my Xperia Play (again) alone. After some time, it finally works. I like the improvement, although for wallpaper setting I think I like the old one better.
